Easy Steps to Clean Your Dishwasher

Lots of people believe that dishwashers are self-cleaning, or that they don’t need cleaning as each rinse or cycle will wash away dirt and grime. After the wash is done, simply remove the mug and give your dishwasher a thorough wipe to leave it sparklingly clean.

4)    Unclogging your dishwasher jets.

If you’re seeing less-than-perfect results from your dishwasher then you might need to unclog and clean the jets. Start by unplugging your dishwasher, and remove the lower rack so that you can clearly see and reach the sprayer arms. Coat these with a very thick layer of bicarbonate of soda, and completely cover the jet openings in the arms as well. Leave the mixture to sit for around thirty minutes, or longer for particularly stubborn dishwashers. You can now scrub the arms to get rid of muck and mess. Make sure you rinse away any left-over debris by placing a glass or mug of vinegar on a regular wash, as mentioned in the previous step.
